Normally I would have churned out half a dozen concepts before the real thing had been released, but not this year. Every time I sat down to play around with some ideas I couldn’t think of any. As a result I had a folder full of 1/5th complete designs that I just couldn’t muster the inspiration to finish. But earlier this week the real 2009 HRT Livery was unveiled (you can check it out at hrt.com.au if you wish) and with it came enough inspiration to finish one of my designs. “Ok. We did crash. We were on this crazy island and we waited for rescue but there wasn’t any rescue and then there was this smoke monster and there were other people on the island, we call them ‘The Others’, and they started attacking us, and we found some hatches and there was a button we had to push every 108 minutes or… well I was never really clear on that, but ‘The Others’ didn’t have anything to do with the hatches, that was the Dharma Initiative, they were all dead, ‘The Others’ killed them and now and now they’re trying to kill us, and then we teamed up with ‘The Others’ because some worse people were coming on a freighter, Desmond’s girlfriend’s father sent them to kill us, so we stole their helicopter and we flew it to their freighter, but it blew up and we couldn’t go back to the island because it disappeared so then we crashed in the ocean and we floated there for a while till a boat came and picked us up and by then there were six of us, that part was true.”
That’s how Hurley explained it to his Mother… and she believed him.

Big pile of homemade sackboys In the last couple of days you might have seen the Hahlo sackboy that my Brother made me, well hit the link above and check out all the other ones that hes been making. He’s a clever little bugger.

Sorry couldn’t help myself when I found that pic. On a more serious note, in just a few hours Barack Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States, officially ending what has been an “interesting” 8 years under “W”.

Heroes ‘will start from scratch’ A reboot will either do great things, or mess it up even more, only time will tell. Personally I think they should be thankful they’ve be given another season.
