Fluency Admin 2.3 now available

Now compatible with WordPress 3.0. I’ve also added more customisation options including iPad friendly menus, and the ability to turn on/off hover menus and hot keys as needed.

Fluency Admin 2.3 now available

Fluency 2.3 is a recommended upgrade for all Fluency users who’ve already upgraded to WordPress 3.0 (which was released earlier this week). Included in this update, in addition to WP3.0 support, are fixes for a number of small issues that were pointed out by users over the past 6 months, and a few additional options to ‘fine-tune’ how you use Fluency.

Well, what are you waiting for? Read more about the updates here, or head to your admin panel to upgrade/install Fleucny 2.3 (of course, you can also jump straight over to WordPress.org to grab the download from there too.)

As always, if you spot a bug or something I’ve missed please let me know. The best place for you to do so is in my help forums, or, if you prefer, in the WordPress.org support forums.

Please leave your name and email, so we can show off your gravatar

  1. When I install Intense Debate, why does the Icon look so weird?

  2. can we add more color by adding extra css on the plugin forlder? or maybe edit the existing css?

  3. New Bug: http://www.postimage.org/image.php?v=PqE2l7J

Certain pages are pulling the css styles from the fluency login. Any ideas as to what’s going on and how to fix it?

    • The Fluency login styles are added in using the ‘login_head’ action which *should* only be present on the WordPress login pages. My guess would be that the Simple:Press plugin being used for that forum is also calling ‘login_head’ for some reason. I’ll do some testing and see if I can find anything.

  4. It works fine for me.

  5. Doesn’t look quite right for me under appearance>menus. Anyone else having this problem?

  6. This is a nice admin panel. I´ve got it installed in my blog http://www.verasoul.com since the version 2.2. Thanks for sharing it.

I would like to ask for some fixes like:

    - the form “search” on the top of the menu is sometimes mixing with other bottoms. It is too close to the screen options.

    - The hover menu “options” or “adjust” in the new WordPress 3.0 has now one column, in the previous version was two columns and no problems.

    Advices:

    - Less transparency in the menu options.
     – Add two columns in “adjust” hover menu.
     – Posibilities to change the background color and text color with pick color editor.
     – Add .po .mo files for translations ( I can help you translating to spanish ;) )

Dropdown menues are working fine ;).

Once again, thank you very much for sharing.

    • Not sure what’s happened to the two-column options menu… don’t remember changing it, but will check it out.

Search button overlapping screen options is a known issue, will see if there is a quick fix (always slips my mind because it only affects users using a language other than English … sorry)

More colour options are planned, but will take some time as its not just a straight colour swap (lots of images involved currently)

Will see what I can do to set things up for translations, will probably post on here looking for volunteers to do the translations.

      Thanks for the feedback.

      • You dont have to sorry man, you have done a very good and nice job with that plugin ;), and of course like all plugins have some mistakes, here we are to tell them to you, and say thanks to you aswell. ;).

If you ask for volunteers for translations, I´ll help you. My mother language is spanish so there´s no problem.
