What is Hahlo?
...and how on earth do you pronounce it...
Hahlo is the original Twitter client for iPhone/iPod Touch. It's built on top of the great APIs provided by Twitter and Summize.
Just one of the great new features in version 3 is the search capabilities that are made possible via the Summize API. Hahlo 3 has an all-new menu which brings all the great features right to your fingertips. Hahlo's aim is to provide as much of the Twitter.com functionality as possible, in an interface that is as easy to use as it is on the eyes.

Hahlo started out as a proof of concept just a day after the WWDC Keynote in June 2007, and has quickly grown into a popular and powerful tool for twitter users across the world. In this time Hahlo has had over 1.6 Million page views, and has been used to send over 170,000 tweets to the masses.
Hah-what now?
Ok, the pronunciation, think of it as "Hello", ok, now put on your best Arnold Schwarzenegger impersonation and say it again...
hah·lo [haa-loh,huh-loh] noun.
The most super awesome Twitter client optimised for iPhone/iPod Touch created by Dean Robinson. Provides a touch friendly interface for Twitterers the world over, allowing them to do almost anything that they can do through twitter.com....except paging.

Did you know that in German, Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, Latvian and several other languages "Hello" is spelt "Hallo".
iPhone/iPod Webclip
Use Hahlo? Love Hahlo? Then why not add it as a webclip to your iPhone or iPod Touch home screen.
Huge amounts of time go into designing, building and supporting Hahlo. Do your bit to help keep Hahlo the best mobile twitter client out there. Every little bit helps, and will be recognised publicly.
Ok, what do I need to use it?
First up, if you haven't got a Twitter account then jump over to twitter.com and sign up, it's dead easy. Once you've got your account up and running you're ready to start using Hahlo.
Here's the best bit(s). You don't need to have an iPhone to use Hahlo, of course it has been designed for use on Apple's mobile platform, but Hahlo also works great in your normal standards compliant browser. Example: If you've got an Asus Eee PC, then you can use it in Firefox.

Mac users should check out Fluid.app, which is an application that creates site specific browsers using the Webkit rendering engine. I would highly recommend this, as this is how I personally use Hahlo when I'm not playing with my iPod.
Another alternative is Prism, which like Fluid creates a site specific browser for you. However Prism is built on Firefox and there are version available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Huzzah! Hahlo for everyone!
