- Does Hahlo allow me to use the Twitter 'track' feature?

However, as an alternative, you can use the new search function in Hahlo to search for your 'tracked' keyword (or any word) and you'll get a timeline of tweets, very similiar to what the 'track' feature would have previously returned to you in your IM.
- I requested a feature for Hahlo 3, where is it?

I have tried my best to accommodate most peoples requests, however there will always be things I can't do, or that I don't have time to do.
This was the case with the launch of Hahlo 3, I had so many requests that I've had to put some off until a later time.
Its also possible that if you're suggestion came via an @reply that I simply missed it, its always best to make sure you post over at Hahlo's GetSatisfaction site which will be the main support channel moving forward.
- I keep missing tweets, why can't I have paging?

Unfortunately paging for the recent/friends timeline is not currently available via the Twitter API. Sorry.Twitter has reintroduced paging for some parts of the API, and its been added to a couple of area in Hahlo, one of which is the "With Friends" timeline.
If you'd like to see paging added to another screen just let me know at Hahlo's GetSatisfaction site.
- Why doesn't it do X?
Either because I haven't added it, or more likely because the API doesn't support it. If you have a suggestion for a feature I'm willing to listen, you never know your suggestion could make it into the next version.
- Do you store my user information? Why?
As of version 3 I do keep a record of your username, it is used to store your chosen preferences in the Hahlo database. As of May 10th 2008 I have changed from using unencrypted cookies, to storing login details (with the password encrypted) in a session.
This session will last upto 7 days (so that you're not having to constantly login all the time)(session length is not current working as describe since the recent hosting change, this will be restored in the near future), and will be cleared immediately when if you logout. At no time will your password ever be stored in the preferences database.- Will Hahlo work on my Device-X?
Can your device run a browser that uses the Webkit or Gecko engine? If so then you've got a pretty good chance that Hahlo will work. I've heard feedback from people using Hahlo on their Nokia phones and Eee PCs...and reports of people not using it on their BlackBerrys. But who needs a BlackBerry if you could have an iPhone instead?
- Can I use Hahlo on my desktop/laptop computer
Of course you can. As mentioned above, all you need is a (good) web browser. You might also want to check out Fluid.app if you're using a Mac, or Prism if you're on Windows, Mac or Linux. Both are great ways to use Hahlo.
