Redoable was last updated in April 2007, because of this full compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress cannot be guaranteed. Redoable is provided as is, without support and there are no plans for any future updates. This covers both the version you can download here, and the version that is available on hosted WordPress.com blogs. There are many features within Redoable, such as sidebar modules/widgets, that were not part of the WordPress core at time of release but have since been added. As a result you may find things that don’t work correctly, or as expected in later versions of WordPress. WordPress 2.1 was the last version properly tested with this theme.
Redoable was built upon the popular K2 code, with some things changed, a couple of things removed and a whole bunch of things added.

Hello Dean! I left a message back in January. I used your theme for my wordpress.com blog and received so many compliments. I’ve moved it to my own webhost (wordpress.org) and am now using an updated version of Redoable. However, I can’t seem to insert my own custom header (which is a crop of a photo) and I am left with just a red bar. Can you advise me how I can insert my old photo like my old site? http://www.shanghaistreetstories.com. Many thanks!
Hello Dean, I love this theme — thank you for designing something so elegant.
I have a question — I am trying to decrease the font size of the header image — it currently is too large and doesn’t appear neatly within the red header box. Is there a way to do this please ? Thanks !
how can u change the header to diplay your own picture?
Hi, the Theme is great. But I am not able to disable the “Display Get Firefox Banner” for IE-Users!
I’m using WordPress 2.9.1 and had the same Problem with 2.7… what can I do?
Just delete the HTML for it in the templates.
In the reader.php file delete this:
<img border=“0” alt=“Firefox 2″ title=“Firefox 2″ src=”/images/firefox-spread-btn-2.png”/>
For a better browsing experience get Firefox 2.
Wow !!!
Thanks for your info mate. My problemd seems clear now.
For Dean,
Thanks for share brother.
Hey, Thank you for this amazing theme. Its a pleasure to deal with :) wish you’d get bored and update it some day. One quick question though — is there a way to get it to stop gluing itselfto the left edge of the window and stick in he middle?
Thanks!
Add a wrapper div to the code.
header.php —
footer.php –
styles.css –
#wrapper { margin:0 auto; width:width of your page px; }
comment doesn’t allow tags.
header.php
footer.php
argh
header.php
body
div id=“wrapper”
footer.php
end wrapper div
end body
Great comment, it make sense.
Thanks, I just wished it had more support for WordPress 2.8+.
Hi Dean, I’m using Redoable Lite and have to say, it’s such an elegant theme. If you don’t mind, can I ask if you intend the fonts for the title posts to be all in lower case? I was just wondering if it is possible to alter the CSS to allow for regular upper and lower case. Many thanks for creating this theme.
yes the lowercase titles are intentional, to remove them you’ll need to find the appropriate line in the CSS and remove the text “text-transform:lowercase” from the style. Search for “h3.entry-title a” this should be the style you need to change.
@ dean
Thanks for your explanation
