A note about my ratings, you might notice a lot of movies with high ratings, this is partly because I don’t tend to watch a movie unless I think I might actually enjoy it, or in the case of Lord of the Ring, because I “have” to watch it…hence the rating it got.
You might agree, you might not, it doesn’t really worry me, this is simply a record of what I have seen and what I thought of it. And to be honest I’ve seen a hell of a lot of movies in the past few years…a lot more than I thought.

As cool as the animated kung-fu fighting animals are, it just felt like it was missing something, don't know what though.

Seeing the same story over and over is a little annoying at first, but I think the second half of the movie made up for that.
